THE ASSOCIATION TO BE THE REFERENCE POINT FOR ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITORS AND OPERATORS IN THE LEISURE BOATING SECTOR
THE OVERSEAS PROGRAMME FOR PROMOTING THE GENOA INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW (19TH – 24TH SEPTEMBER 2019) ALONG WITH UCINA ACTIVITIES, FROM MARKET UPDATES TO THE LATEST INSIGHTS INTO REGULATIONS, CONTINUES
UCINA TO ATTEND THE MAIN INTERNATIONAL EVENTS OF EUROPEAN AND GLOBAL FEDERATIONS
UCINA, the Association for the entire Italian leisure boating industry, will be taking part in the 50th edition of boot Düsseldorf (19th – 27th January 2019), with an institutional stand (Hall 7 A / G01) for the overseas promotion and internationalisation of Italian businesses. During boot, this stand will act as the reference point for the 138 Italian businesses taking part, along with the Italian and international operators who will be visiting the German show.
The Düsseldorf boat show will also be the perfect opportunity to provide the first insights into the 59th Genoa International Boat Show which, as announced during the Annual UCINA Members Assembly in Rome on 19th December, will take place in Genoa from 19th to 24th September this year.
“We will be acting as “Italy’s Home Base”, – explains UCINA President Carla Demaria – a place where all Italian businesses, whether exhibiting or not, will be able to meet, do business and receive important updates regarding the latest news on regulations and tax, along with market trend predictions for the boating industry in Italy and worldwide. UCINA’s presence abroad – continues Demaria – is specifically intended for promoting the Italian System and our entire leisure boating sector, from ship building to refitting to marinas”.
Last December, the Annual UCINA Members Assembly also approved the international participation plan with regards to leading overseas boat shows with a formula composed of institutional participation and a delegation of Italian businesses. Following boot Düsseldorf, 2019 will see UCINA take part in the Dubai International Boat Show (26th February – 2nd March), the Ibex Show in Tampa, Florida (1st – 3rd October), the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (30th October – 3rd November) and the METSTRADE Show in Amsterdam (19th – 21st November).
