The Overmarine Group has launched its third unit of the Mangusta Oceano 50 series conceived by the partnership between the yard’s technical offices, yacht designer Alberto Mancini and P.L.A.N.A. Design under engineer Ausonio.
At 49.90 metres in length and with a beam of 9.20 metres, the Mangusta Oceano 50 presents a steel hull and aluminium superstructure reaching a tonnage of 499 GT. Among its key features are the two side doors, the one at the stern of which opens onto the sea and transforms into two terraces, and the 6.50 metre by 2.60 metre swimming pool equipped with a counter-current swimming system and hydromassage set-up.
The interiors, as pointed out by Nicolò Strocco, Sales Manager at Mangusta, who oversaw the sale as per the owner’s requests, include a 52 square metre owner’s suite on the main deck with a balcony and five guest cabins including a full-beam VIP cabin with separate access to the lower deck.
Powered by two 1700 hp MTU 12V 2000 M86s the new Mangusta Oceano 50 reaches a top speed of 16 knots with a cruising speed of 11 knots and a transatlantic range of 4500 miles.
