Sanlorenzo publishes its Q1 2022 figures

Net revenues from the sale of new yachts in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to € 164.4 million, an increase of 39.3% compared to the same period of 2021. This is the first figure that emerges from the financial information relating to the first quarter of 2022 communicated by Sanlorenzo Spa.

The meeting of the board of directors of Sanlorenzo Spa was held in Venice on the occasion of the Art Biennale which the shipyard, led by Cavalier Massimo Perotti, Former President of Confindustria Nautica – the Italian Marine Industry Association, supports as main sponsor of the Italian Pavilion.

A series of results that Cavalier Massimo Perotti, while underlining an order book worth 1.2 billion euros, commented as follows: “Albeit once again a series of exceptional results, they come as no surprise to us. These numbers are nothing more than the natural outcome of a solid business model applied to every aspect of what we do. This solidity is reflected in our outstanding performance, not just across the boating sector, but also in the luxury sector”.

As for the actual figures, the main data approved by the board of directors of Sanlorenzo Spa, relating to New Net Revenues, see the performance of the Yacht Division with 117.2 million (+ 48.3%), of the Superyacht Division driven by Steel with 32.8 million and with Bluegame at 14.3 million (+ 56.5%). All this, along with a substantial growth trend in the “Americas” market which marks a +121.3% increase compared to 2021.

Other data refers to orders for the first three months of 2022 equal to 262.4 million compared to 144.7 million in 2021 and, again in the first quarter of 2022, investments of 6.3 million (+ 12.4%) with 50% intended for the development of new products and the introduction of innovations and technologies aimed at reducing the environmental impact of yachts.

And as for new products, Sanlorenzo Spa’s expansion plan includes the launch of three new lines, one for each division. In particular, the SP Line for the Yacht Division, the X-Space Line for the Superyacht Division and the BGM line for Bluegame.
