First Mangusta Oceano 39 launched

7 June 2023

The first unit of the Mangusta Oceano 39 series has been launched. Entry level of the Mangusta Oceano “displacement” line, the new Mangusta Oceano 39 was built by the Shipyard’s technical offices in collaboration with yacht designer Alberto Mancini and the Verme naval engineering studio.

We are immensely proud to see the first unit of this innovative new model take to the water,” commented Maurizio Balducci, CEO of Overmarine Group. “The Mangusta Oceano 39 is a new three-deck vessel with large, glazed surfaces in which structures have been reduced to a minimum and rafted to allow a direct connection to the sea.”

The new Mangusta Oceano 36 expands the Mangusta Oceano range to which the 44-metre and 50-metre yachts already belong and among other special features has folding terraces overlooking the sea that extend the beach house and the “Mangusta Design Feature” infinity pool with a partially glazed bottom on the upper deck.

The interiors, which offer four guest cabins on the lower deck and the owner’s cabin, with a balcony, on the main deck, were created by the shipyard’s technical department in close contact with the owner through sales manager Nicolò Strocco.

The Mangusta Oceano 39 is powered by two 1700 hp MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines for a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. A version with two 2600 hp engines is planned with speeds of 20 knots and 18 knots respectively. The second Mangusta Oceano 39 will be available for delivery in November 2024.
