FIM presents the new 500 Regina at Boot

17 January 2024

FIM|Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi will be at Boot this year in Düsseldorf with a model that has already established a successful position on the market, the 440 Regina, designed by Alessandro Lottici of the aLOT Design studio for the exteriors and by Arianna Bianchi and Silvia Capelli of LDI Design for the interiors. This time, however, FIM will be presenting something new.

Boot will in fact see the unveiling of the first details of the 500 Regina, FIM’s new flagship for the coming season which, as in all FIM models, will have as its distinctive feature the hard top integrated into the windscreen and with fixed side windows for dry and comfortable sailing, and which will be able to accommodate 3 kW photovoltaic panels.

Among the stand-out features of the 440 Regina, which was one of the new models to be presented at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show, is the use of recycled aeronautical carbon fibre. A technology developed by Recarbon in partnership with CBS and used by FIM for the automotive-inspired hard top protecting the external spaces, and for the cladding panels, guaranteeing lightness and, at the same time, the recovery of eco-sustainable materials and products.

The 440 Regina offers a large sundeck and a mooring area that can be converted into a relaxation area. At the stern, the cockpit houses a dining area, galley unit and bridge. Below deck there is a galley, a convertible dinette, two cabins, and an aft master cabin.
