Genoa Boat Show

Debut for the Prestige M48, the first powercat by Prestige Yachts

4 August 2022

The Prestige M48, a 50-foot catamaran that offers the same volumes as a 60-foot motoryacht, and which Prestige Yachts is going to be presenting at the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show, is born from a project created expressly to run on motors, without any constraints deriving from sailing.

14.78 metres long with a beam of 6 metres, the Prestige M48, Prestige Yachts’ first multihull, maintains all the qualities of the French shipyard’s monohull models. Among the elements that make this model truly stand out is the electric stern platform which, depending on the position, creates a terrace 6 metres wide that can be used as a tender lift, beach club or to make an extension of the cockpit.

The flybridge, which is spread over 20 square metres, and the internal lounge of 22 square metres with a kitchen which, via a window, is directly connected to the cockpit furnished with tables and seats for eight people, are also part of the space.

The owner’s suite takes advantage of the full width available in the bow (an impressive 5 meters) of the central nacelle. The two doubles arranged in each beam can become two twins and the owner’s cabin can also be transformed into two doubles.

Engines: two 320 hp Volvo D4s.
