Having been presented in Gargnano, the headquarters of Frauscher Italia by Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli, the first model of the Frauscher X Porsche 850 Fantom Air, born from the partnership between the Stuttgart-based car manufacturer and the Austrian shipyard.
The new Frauscher X Porsche 850 Fantom Air is equipped with the same technology as the electric Porsche Macan. “The eFantom offers everything that Frauscher and Porsche products have always promised: outstanding performance combined with a classy experience, top quality and an exclusive, timeless design,” stated Porsche AG Sales and Marketing Board Member Detlev von Platen.
The engine set-up for the Frauscher X Porsche 850 Fantom Air, which uses the same components as the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) on which the new Macan is based, consists of the innovative permanently excited Synchronous Electric Motor (PSM), powered by a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery. Peak power for use in the eFantom has been limited to 400 kW.
Like any Porsche on the road, the Frauscher X Porsche 850 Fantom Air offers four driving modes: Docking, Range, Sport and Sport Plus. In Docking, the speed is limited to 8 knots, the cruising speed is 22 knots with one hour of range while the maximum speed in Sport Plus has been limited to 46 knots.
