In the continuous search for better solutions to improve comfort on board, Opac, the Turin-based company specialising in the design and construction of hard-top or soft-top canopies and awnings for pleasure boats, has developed the new laminated thermal break hard-top.
In the new laminated hard-top that was presented at the METS show in Amsterdam, the thermal break is achieved by breaking down the section of the aluminium and placing an insulating material between the two elements that make it up, so as to cut thermal conductivity.
Ideal for a main saloon or wheelhouse, the thermally broken laminated hard-top, which is also available in the glazed version of the laminated hard-top, provides high insulation from heat or cold, improving comfort on board.
