Cantiere delle Marche has chosen Valerio Rivellini for the design of Iceman, an explorer tender forthe Maverick, the 44.33 metre Flexplorer 146 that was launched from the Ancona yard.
Maverick is the first of three units and, like the other two currently under construction, bears the signature of Hydro Tec for the exterior design and that of Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini for the interior design featuring a master suite on the main deck replicated by a second suite on the upper deck. On the lower deck are four guest cabins.
Maverick has a 135-square-metre aft deck equipped with a crane for handling a sailboat and the new Iceman.
At 10 metres in length, with an aluminium hull and carbon fibre superstructure, Iceman, when hoisted aboard Maverick, acts as a cradle for a second 4-metre tender. A solution that saves space and allows maximum freedom of movement on the aft deck.
