64th Genoa International Boat Show – What’s New: Lights and pods from SAIM Marine

The new QTE 140 light by Underwater Lights is the first new product to be presented by SAIM Marine at the 64^th Genoa International Boat Show, a traditional event for the Boating Division of the SAIM Group, founded in 1951, and a leader in the import and distribution of technological components and equipment.

An underwater light using LED technology, the QTE 140 model by Underwater Lights is designed for boats from 30 to 200 metres with aluminium and steel hulls. Installed flush anywhere on the hull or stern via welding, it adjusts to a projection angle of up to 100 degrees.

The QTE 140’s LED projector has a power output of more than 20,000 lumens, a lifespan of about 40,000 hours, and an operating power of 110 to 240 volts AC. In addition, the beam angle can be adjusted, and the colour of the light beam can be remotely selected, which can be a single or polychromatic single colour as well as other light effects.

Alongside the new Underwater Light, another new product from SAIM Marine at the 64^th Genoa International Boat Show will be the new SeaDrive 20kW integrated electric pod model that provides more power and greater efficiency for greater sustainability and environmental awareness.
