28 August 2024

Manage your on-board lights and fish in perfect silence thanks to these two brand new products from the many innovations that Garmin, the world’s most innovative and recognised manufacturer of on-board electronics, will be presenting at this year’s 64th Genoa International Boat Show.

Controlling the onboard LED lights is now possible with the Garmin Spectra, a small control unit that makes light management as easy as possible by allowing all lights to be adjusted directly from a compatible Garmin chartplotter or from the Active Captain app.

The Garmin Spectra allows full control over LED lights throughout the boat, including speakers, subwoofers and wake towers from JL Audio and Fusion, as well as LED strips, courtesy lights, underwater lights, cup holders and more. When paired with a Fusion Apollo stereo, you can control scene selection and LED effects directly from the stereo.

A 48′ shaft, integrated GPS and quick release bracket are, on the other hand, among the stand-out the features of the new model to be showcased at the Genoa  Boat Show from Garmin’s Kraken Trolling Motor Force range, which offers fishing enthusiasts advanced accuracy, unmatched power and unprecedented integration with the Garmin ecosystem.

Other features that distinguish the Trolling Motor Force Kraken range are the efficient brushless motor, LiveScope readiness for easy installation through the transducer motor shaft. Other key aspects include the integrated echo sounder, instant boat anchorage on the GPS point and wireless navigation that allows you to change course from anywhere on the boat.
