64th Genoa International Boat Show – What’s New: A New Cap Camarat and Merry Fisher from Jeanneau

28 August 2024

Two Walkarounds and a Cruiser will be the new entries from Jeanneau making their world debut at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show. The first Walkaround is the Cap Camarat 10.5WA (9.95 metres), a day boat equipped with an integral windscreen which is not only a high and enveloping feature, it also perfectly shelters the cockpit area. The cabinet behind the helm contains a grill, gas cooker, lockers, refrigerator and a container for fish. Two interior cabins. Outboard engines: two 425 hp.

Second model to join the line-up in Genoa is the Cap Camarat 12.5WA (11.90 metres), which like the 10.5 has a wraparound windscreen. The cockpit offers a section of the port side that opens onto the water, expanding the space on board, and the forward sunbathing area is also a dinette with an outdoor table. Also in the cockpit, the cabinet behind the wheelhouse is a well-equipped galley.

Inside, the owner’s cabin, located aft, features a double bed and a single berth that when combined make a king-size bed. The V-shaped sofa in the bow easily becomes a second double bed. Outboard engines: two 450 hp or three 300 hp.

The third new unit from Jeanneau is the Merry Fisher 1295 Coupe (12.41 metres) which offers three cabins with large windows, two bathrooms with separate shower compartments and plenty of storage space. Stand-out features include the starboard side of the cockpit that opens out to the sea, the galley at the entrance to the saloon that is directly connected to the cockpit, and a foredeck that is a dinette equipped with a table or sunbathing area.
