After the launch of the ninth Mangusta GranSport 33 on 25th May, it is now the turn of the first Mangusta 132E, of which the shipyard announced the launch on 5th June. Developed by the company’s Engineering Department, the new Mangusta 132E is an innovative take on the Maxi Open concept that makes Mangusta Yachts famous and is distinguished by the new windows on the hull and the enlargement of those bathing the main deck in natural light. Two elements that make this particular design immediately recognisable.
The Mangusta 132E’s key features include the open-air spaces with a large whirlpool tub and large sundecks at the bow, and the sundeck where the second wheelhouse and dining area are located, and the full-height windows in the central living area.
Another element of the interiors created by the shipyard’s in-house department is the entrance to the living area on the main deck, which rotates to position itself along the wall, transforming the saloon and cockpit into a single, uninterrupted space.
The new Mangusta 132E is powered by three 2600 hp MTUs combined with Kamewa waterjets for a top speed of 35 knots.
