Centounonavi lands in Saudi Arabia

2 February 2024

Centounonavi, the Viareggio-based shipyard founded by marine engineer Marco Arnaboldi, has signed a dealership agreement with the Durah al Fodah company owned by His Royal Highness Naif Bin Abdullah Bin Saus Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud that will promote the Italian shipyard’s range in Saudi Arabia.

The signing of the agreement took place at the end of the yard’s range presentation that Centounonavi held in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh and included as its first act the purchase by Durah al Fodah of a demo model that will be available to all those who wish to experience the thrill of flying at 55 knots in maximum comfort and in full respect of the environment thanks to Centounonavi’s construction technology that uses recycled PVC foam.

The presentation impressed those taking part in the event not only for the unique aesthetic and performance characteristics of the Centounonavi yachts, but above all for the very “green”-focused contents aimed at causing a lower impact on the country’s precious Red Sea and beyond,” explained Marco Arnaboldi. “This very sea is at the centre of a major tourism launch through the development of accommodation facilities and actual new cities that have environmental sustainability as their common denominator. An area in which Centounonavi, among the world’s manufacturers of high-performance yachts, is currently a global trailblazer, making the most of the ground-breaking technologies resulting from Studio Arnaboldi’s R&D and the shipyard’s rigorous applications“.

Centounonavi’s range is composed of the Vespro (16.70 metres long) a fast cruiser that with two 1,200 hp MAN 8Vs and MJP 350X waterjets, reaches 57 knots, the Forza (28 metres) that mounts three 2,000 hp MAN 12Vs and MJP 450 waterjets for 60 knots and the Eterea, a 39-metre triple-decker that with four 2,600 hp MTUs and MJP waterjets reaches 58 knots with a cruising speed of 50 knots. The range will soon see the addition of the 75-foot Aria.
