To avoid uncertainty in balancing your boat through a joy stick. This is now possible thanks to the Uflex Trim Tabs kit, which the Genoa-based company will be presenting at this year’s Boot Düsseldorf. A commercial company part of the Ultraflex Group, active now for over 80 years in the boating world, Uflex was founded in 1988 and operates in the promotion and sale of accessories worldwide across a multitude of recreational and professional boating sectors, for recreational vessels and in view of alternative energy sources.
The Trim Tabs kit and Joystick with a fingertip control system showcased at Boot, thanks to an innovative joystick designed and produced by Uflex, ensures maximum control over the vessel even in the harshest of conditions and allows for a more intuitive way to realign a boat compared to traditional rocker systems.
The system itself, available with an assembly kit, is made up of a pair of electromechanical actuators including attachments and a cable along with the joystick, also with its connection cable included. The pair of spoilers is to be set up separately based on the vessel at hand. The Uflex Trim Tabs system, which cannot be fitted to racing boats, is available in four different models.
