UCINA, THE ITALIAN MARINE INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, AND THE ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY ORGANISE A DELEGATION OF 70 ITALIAN BUSINESSES FOR AMSTERDAM’S METSTRADE SHOW
UCINA TO SPONSOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVE AWARD AS PART OF THE 2018 BOAT BUILDER AWARDS
The Made in Italy brand will take centre stage at METSTRADE – the Marine Equipment Trade Show, the world’s most important international boat show for the leisure boating accessories sector, set to take place from 13th to 15th November this year.
An impressive 70 businesses have been selected by the Italian Trade Agency with the support of UCINA, Italy’s Marine Industry Association, to be part of an Italian industry delegation that will showcase their products to the international market in the Italian Pavilion and the Superyacht Pavilion, which this year will host an even greater collective expected to include 11 businesses.
The display area offered by the Italian Pavilion, put together with the support of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, will reach 1,600 square metres and will offer an institutional booth where exhibitors from the delegation will be provided with their own space for business meetings and treated to tailored services.
UCINA’s senior management will also be hosting an official visit of the Italian Embassy to The Hague, represented by Silvia Principi- Trade Office.
With regards to the 2018 edition of the “Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement”, a ceremony that recognises individual and team achievements in ten categories in the field of boat building, UCINA, the Italian Marine Industry Association, will be sponsoring the Environmental Initiative Award for the second year running
The award, acknowledging those companies who focus their efforts on safeguarding the environment, will be handed out by the President of UCINA, Carla Demaria, on Tuesday 13th November at Amsterdam’s National Maritime Museum during the gala dinner organised by the METSTRADE Show and IBI – International Boat Industry magazine.
The joint initiatives of the Italian Trade Agency and UCINA will continue well into 2019 with BOOT in Düsseldorf (19th – 27th January 2019) where the Association will have its own institutional booth, a reference point for its members and other Italian businesses working in the sector, as well as for all the press and other operators from Italy and around the world who will be visiting the show in Germany.
