A mini-maxi measuring 18.31 metres in length. This is the Solaris 60, to be presented by Solaris Yachts, a shipyard founded in 1974, at the 61st Genoa International Boat Show. Designed by Javier Soto Acebal, the Solaris 60 upholds the tradition of a shipyard that combines the latest technological solutions and the highest degree of artisanal expertise.
The cockpit features the helm wheelsacross the entirewidth (the design’s width measures 5.28 metres), which guarantee an exceptional level of control over the model along with the four winches in optimal positions creating a comfortable manoeuvring space. The sail plan stretches across 210 square metres of self-turning sail surface with a vanishing bowspritfor Gennaker and Code Zero.
A deckhouse and guest cockpit with a table, available in a two solutions: single and large or double with a central corridor leading from the cockpit to the entrance to the cabin. These complete a main deck that is free from manoeuvres and entirely liveable.
The interiors of the Solaris 60 follow a classical layout based on an “owner to bow” set-up which characterises the Solaris interiors as a whole. The kitchen area is immediately to stern of the mast, while a large and well-lit central living area and two cabins can be found to stern (double and queen-sized), completing this latest mini-maxi by Solaris Yachts.
