At the Ferretti Yachts yard located in Cattolica, the new Ferretti Yachts 940, which combines design and spaciousness, has just been launched. The Ferretti Yachts 940 was born from the collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interior design is by the IdeaeItalia studio.
With a length of 28.97 metres and a maximum beam of 6.78 metres, the Ferretti Yachts 940, the first widebody in terms of size in her range, offers five cabins with the master on the main deck and the four guest cabins on the lower deck, great versatility when it comes to the configuration of the exterior spaces and, in the interiors, a broad view of the sea made possible by full-height glass walls.
Stand-out features of the Ferretti Yachts 940 include the almost 30 square metre saloon, the Raised Pilot House with an uninterrupted single windscreen, the full-beam owner’s suite, and the external bow area featuring a large sundeck.
The new Ferretti Yachts 940 with two 2000 hp MAN V12s can reach a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.
