The fourth Mangusta Oceano 50 has been launched. Stefano Arlunno, President of Mangusta Americas, when announcing the launch on 21st June, underlined how the new yacht, fruit of a productive partnership between the yard’s technical offices, Alberto Mancini and P.L.A.N.A. Design under engineer Pierluigi Ausonio, is: “another Mangusta Oceano delivered to an American owner, testifying to the success of metal yachts on this important market, a region that truly appreciates our quality and engineering.”
Among the stand-out features of the new Mangusta Oceano 50, in addition to the full-height windows ensuring constant contact between interior and exterior, is the beach area with three terraces that open onto the sea and, at the bow, the cockpit above the garage which, once the tender is launched, transforms into a 6.50 by 2.60 metre swimming pool equipped with a counter-current swimming system and hydro-massage experience.
The interiors, designed by Alberto Mancini, feature a 52 square metre owner’s suite on the main deck, equipped with its own balcony. On the lower deck guests have at their disposal five double cabins with a full-beam VIP provided with separate access.
A top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots with a range of 4500 miles are the performance figures of the new Mangusta Oceano 50, powered by two 1700 hp MTUs.
