The Baglietto T52, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design for the exteriors and in collaboration with Margherita Casprini for the interiors, won in the category Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 45m and above at the World Superyacht Awards.
“We are immensely proud of this win,” stated Baglietto CEO Diego Michele Deprati, “because it acknowledges a project on which we have built not only today’s concept of what is Baglietto, but also tomorrow’s and that of the near future. In such a special year, that in which Baglietto celebrates its 170th anniversary, this award puts the seal on a tradition that since the brand’s beginnings so long ago has always demonstrated its tremendous ability to innovate and its vision for the future, without ever betraying its roots“.
The prize-giving ceremony took place on Sunday 5th May at the Venice Arsenale, and among the reasons for the award the jury highlighted not only the 135-square-metre sundeck, defined as one of the best spaces on board, but also: “The unique design of the aft area with a beach club spread over three levels and including a large 3.7-metre-long swimming pool with a retractable floor“.
In their evaluation the judges also highlighted the hybrid propulsion system of what is the first hull in a successful line that has seen as many as eight Baglietto T52s sold in just three years.
