Yamaha joins Boot with the new 350 hp V6

18 January 2024

Yamaha Motor Europe, the world leader in outboard engine innovation, is presenting its latest outboard at Boot in Düsseldorf: the thrilling 350 hp V6, which completes the V6 range of 225 hp, 250 hp and 300 hp engines and fills the power gap between V6 and V8 (XTO 400 hp V8 and XTO 450 hp V8).

This year’s range,” stated Fabrice Lacoume, Marine Director of Yamaha Motor Europe, “features an exciting and powerful new engine that truly meets the needs of today’s owner, as well as a number of technical improvements that meet and hopefully exceed the ever-growing expectations of our customers.”

Alongside the new 350 hp V6, Yamaha is also bringing to the German show an upgrade of the Helm Master EX, Yamaha’s exclusive control system that makes maneuvering boat easy and enjoyable.

For 2024, Yamaha is expanding the joystick-based variable speed bow thruster integration system, with the addition of single or multiple engine applications for larger boats that may require additional control.

Also for 2024, Yamaha’s new 704 mechanical remote control box is now available with a neutral lock function that allows the outboard to maintain a neutral position while the engine is running.
