The first WiLder 60, from Wider’s new brand that transfers the design and construction that is most typical of superyachts to an all-aluminium model, was launched in Fano at the Wider Vision Hub.
“The launching of the first WiLder 60 in Fano not only represents a milestone for Wider and the WiLder brand, it also marks an important step forward in terms of what a 60-foot yacht can offer and the level of quality in construction,” stated Marcello Maggi, president of W-Fin Sarl, the holding company that owns 100% of Wider’s shares.
At 18.9 metres in length, the WiLder 60 is designed by the Wider Style Centre and combines performance (with two MAN V8 1300s it reaches a top speed of 40 knots) with construction tailored to the highest standards of design.
Among the design’s most stand-out features, the new WiLder 60 offers ample living spaces on the bow deck, an aft deck area equipped with a sundeck and open-air dining area, while the interiors include a large saloon equipped with a galley and relaxation area, the owner’s cabin in the bow and two twin suites.
Leather in contrasting shades of beige, marble, high gloss finishes and refined lighting emphasise the fine materials used in the outfitting of what Maggi emphasises as a true revolution: “We intend it to provide a tailor-made concept pushed to the highest level thanks to a product that we consider to be truly revolutionary for its category“.
For Wider, that of the WiLder 60 is the second launch in 2024 after that of the WiderCat92, the brand’s first catamaran, and takes place while two other WiLder 60s are already under construction at the Superyacht Hub in Venice.
