Wider’s first WiLder 60 will be launched in August. Built entirely in aluminium with its interiors designed by the Wider Style Centre, its launch will mark the beginning of the new WiLder brand.
“During its design process, the Wider Style Centre team focused on the idea of creating a dynamic, charming and easy to manoeuvre 60-footer that was at the same time comfortable and brimming with the typical details that define a superyacht,” explained Marcello Maggi, at the helm of W-Fin Sarl, the holding company that holds 100% of Wider’s capital. “This attention to detail was given to both the exterior and interior design, and the Wider Style Centre studied every aesthetic and functional aspect, creating several unique solutions.”
Among the stand-out features of the new 18.90-metre-long WiLder 60 is a deck plan that includes a space referred to as the ‘party deck’ by the shipyard to bow, the central bridge and the cockpit with sundeck, seating and dining area.
The interiors on the lower deck are organised with a saloon equipped with a designer kitchen and a relaxation area and a large owner’s suite. Aft are two guest cabins. Powered by two MAN V8 1300s coupled with surface propellers, the WiLder 60 has a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 35 with a range of 325 miles.
