The Ferretti Group’s School of Trades is back

20 November 2023

The second edition of the Ferretti Group’s School of Trades, which aims to train specialised labour (roofers and carpenters) to be employed in the production of luxury yachts, has kicked off in Forlì.

After the first edition in the Forlì headquarters and the subsequent activation in the Mondolfo and Sarnico sites, the objective of the second edition is to increase personnel in anticipation opening the recently acquired Ravenna shipyard.

Our School of Trades,” the Ferretti Group emphasised, “is of fundamental importance: we want to open the doors to the next generation and provide them with skills and abilities to maintain the unparalleled standards of excellence that distinguish our brand. We expect to identify an influx of new professionals to be integrated into our yards, thus establishing a lasting and profitable working partnership“.

The course, lasting three months and with a total of 500 hours, is dedicated to young people aged between 18 and 29 who want to take their first steps into the excellence of the Italian yachting industry. Lessons are held by technical experts, former yard managers and team leaders. In total, including the Forlì edition, there are over 50 trainees who could be hired within the Ferretti Group shipyards.
