Perini Navi by The Italian Sea Group receives three new orders

22 April 2022

Perini Navi is now working on three new orders after their acquisition last December by The Italian Sea Group, the group founded and headed by Giovanni Costantino, who confirmed that the shipyard will be exclusively engaged in the construction of sailing boats.

The constructions will be carried out in the Viareggio headquarters for sailing boats up to 60 metres while larger models will be built at the production sites in La Spezia and Marina di Carrara.

The orders represent a 60-metre ketch, now nearing completion with its delivery date scheduled for the end of 2023, a 47-metre sloop with to be delivered in the first half of 2024 and, finally, a 56-metre ketch with a delivery date set for the end of 2024. In particular, the 47-metre sloop, the style and design of which were developed by the Group’s Style Centre, will be the first Perini Navi by The Italian Sea Group.

Other elements that make the new 47-metre Perini Navi stand out include the use of carbon for the mast (62.5 metres) and boom and the fly-by-wire steering system of the two rudders using fibre optics.
