26 August 2022

Designed by the French studio helmed by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost (who among other accomplishments designed the winning trimaran of the 2013 America’s Cup), the Excess 14 will be the model French shipyard Excess Catamarans of the Beneteau Group presents at the 62nd Genoa International Boat Show.

Low freeboard, inverted bow straight, slender lines and hull portholes with a unique design: these are the first elements to stand out when it comes to this cat measuring 13.97 metres in length and 7.87 metres in width (138 m2 sail area), built with carbon elements and which ensures maximum visibility thanks to the two wheelhouses and the exclusive non-burnished windows.

The cockpit is furnished with an aft sofa, dinette and sofa at the entrance to the living room with the large kitchen on the left and the dining area in the bow.

There are three layouts available: with three cabins and the owner’s cabin taking up the entire starboard hull, three cabins with the owner’s cabin, still to starboard, including a twin, and four double cabins. Runs on two 45 Hp or two 57 Hp auxiliary engines.
