18 May 2023

Baglietto chose Portofino as the ideal location to holdthe world premiere of the first Baglietto T52, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design and Officina Baglietto, a talent garden for training young luxury designers.

We have been waiting for this moment for a long time,” stressed Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO. “Hull 10238 is a yacht that marks a decisive stage in our shipyard’s journey, especially in terms of research and development: this is the first model belonging to the T52 line to feature a hybrid engine. Our path towards sustainable boating is one the shipyard is pursuing with unwavering commitment“.

Officina Baglietto’s second presentation will mark the shipyard’s 170th anniversary, which will be celebrated in 2024. Officina Baglietto aims to identify, train and specialise young generations of creatives throughout the luxury market, with the possibility to specialise into four training paths, dedicated to fashion, jewellery, furniture and yachting.

Officina Baglietto, a project curated by the YACademy in Bologna with the support of Marine Interiors, Marina di Loano and CGT, can count on the collaboration of a number of established professionals from the various sectors.

For Officina Baglietto fashion, the project has partnered with Tiziana Fausti and 10 Corso Como, for product design with Nicholas Bewick, Architecture Art Director at the AMDL CIRCLE studio, and for jewellery with Rosa Maria Villani, coordinator and head of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato. Lastly, for the yachting sector, Officina Baglietto will be relying on Francesco Paszkowski, a designer who has been a point of reference for the Baglietto shipyards for over thirty years.
