Ferretti Group announces results for the first quarter of 2022

Ferretti Group, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on March 31st, has published its economic results for the first quarter of 2022 which, among other data, shows revenues of € 256.4 million with an increase of 37.9% compared to Q1 2021 (€ 186 million), attributable to the significant order backlog achieved in 2021.

Among the figures provided for Q1 2022 are also orders for € 394 million, an increase of 97.2% compared to Q1 2021 (€ 200 million) and an order book that reached € 1,320 million as of March 31st 2022, up by 30% compared to 31 December 2021 (€ 1,016 million).

“Every month we collect more orders than we are able to produce” commented Alberto Galassi, Executive Director of the Group “which is why all our unique and iconic brands have such long waiting lists. This is why our customers are placing their orders now: they know that delivery times will be at least two years. We can expect a continuously expanding demand in such an exceptionally growing market”.

As for other key indicators for the company, figures point to the launch of 48 yachts of which 41 that were built using composite materials, 6 that were “made-to-measure” and one superyacht, marking an increase of 8 units compared to the results of Q1 2021 (36 composite yachts, 3 made-to-measure yachts and one superyacht).

Further news relates to the presentation of three new projects for the Riva, Wally and Pershing brands, the exclusive adoption of the Aqua Marina Tech anti-collision system, the renewal of the Scuderia Ferrari’s Riva sponsorship in the F1 World Championship and the inauguration of the Riva Lounge in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
