Baglietto places a DOM 133

18 March 2021

Yet another example of Baglietto’s success with their DOM line. Following the purchase of Run Away, the line’s very first model, Baglietto, boasting 160 years of shipbuilding experience, has announced the sale of the DOM 133, second model to be sold from the line designed by Stefano Vafiadis.

The sale, resulting from a partnership between Baglietto and Fernando Nicholson of Camper & Nicholson, confirms once again the strong appeal of the DOM series, the name of which derives from the Latin word for “home” domus, a name that champions how the design is tailored to the needs and lifestyles of the modern owner.

Measuring an impressive 40 metres in length, the DOM 133 is the largest of the series, a size matched by a width of 8.70 metres which allows for large interior spaces and broad, open environments such as the saloon on the main deck. Running on two Caterpillar C32s, the DOM 133 can reach a top speed of 17 knots. Upon announcing the sale of the DOM 133, Baglietto also hinted at the possibility of building a third twin model equipped with a standard hybrid propulsion system which would become available in Spring 2023.
