Baglietto launches its fifth DOM 133

18 March 2024

The Baglietto docks in Carrara saw the launch of Astera, the fifth hull in the successful DOM 133 line, which by the beginning of 2024 had reached ten units sold. The DOM 133 line is designed by Stefano Vafiadis, who also designed Astera’s interior design.

Astera, the outfitting of which will be completed in the Baglietto factories in La Spezia, features a great deal of new features compared to previous sister ships: its open design, the saloon on the upper deck now equipped with a French window that can also be opened at the sides and opens onto two small balconies.

Another key feature is the ventilation ducts brought out onto the main deck: a choice that allows the main saloon to make the most of all the glazing on the yacht’s port side.

Astera, built entirely using aluminium, is powered by two Caterpillar C332s for a top speed of 17 knots.
