Azimut Yachts adds the Azimut 68 to the Flybridge Collection

31 August 2021

Three different layouts for the main deck. This is one of the stand-out characteristics of the brand new Azimut 68 which Azimut Yachts, a member of the Azimut Benetti Group, will be showcasing at this year’s 61st Genoa International Boat Show. The new Azimut 68 will join the Flybridge Collection which includes yachts measuring from 42 to 88 feet.

Measuring 20.98 metres in length and 5.23 metres in maximum width, the Azimut 68, designed by Alberto Mancini in terms of exterior design and Achille Salvagni for  the interiors, was conceived with a core concept in mind, that of putting the owner’s needs first. For this reason the model has been designed with three solutions in mind for the interior layout of the main deck.

The first layout is named “Lanterna” with a kitchen area that is separated from the large living area by a ribbed plexiglass dividerwhich provides privacy for the cooking area, creating both a unique, large and well-lit space. The second layout, a more convivial version, offers an open galley, while the third solution provides a layout where the kitchen is in front of the dining area at the entrance of the cockpit.

The brand new Azimut 68 can carry up to eight guestsin four cabins located on the lower deck and, running on two 1000 Hp Volvo IPS 1350s, can reach a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
