A new unit for Antonini Navi, a hull featuring the superstructure of a 55-metre built for a major Italian shipyard. Construction was carried out in La Spezia in Antonini Navi’s hub dedicated to building superyachts founded in 2019 by the Antonini Spa Group. Five steel and aluminium units from 45 to 58 metres have been built at that same location over the course of the past three years.
“Having the additional opportunity to build yachts on behalf of third parties for renowned and famous international brands allows us access to unique experiences and demonstrates to the market our true skill and potential,” commented Simone Antonini, CEO of Antonini Navi.
Construction of the new 55-metre unit, which features a beam of 9 metres and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, had started back in November 2022 and was completed in 9 months, on schedule.
Antonini Navi, which in addition to third party construction collaborates with leading yacht designers in the creation of full custom superyachts, is currently engaged in the construction of a 45-metre motor yacht designed by Fulvio de Simoni, which will be delivered und ther ‘Antonini Navi’ brand.
Moreover, Antonini Navi, which can rely on an impressive 33,000 square metres of yards and 4200 square metres of warehouses, is also engaged in refit activities in which it boasts significant experience, having worked, among other things, on the Italian Navy’s Amerigo Vespucci training ship. Since 2019 Antonini Navi has carried out more than 20 ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations on yachts from 20 to 80 metres.
