63rd Genoa International Boat Show News – Design meets comfort in the new Elan Impression 43

25 August 2023

Dedicated to family cruising, the new Elan Impression 43 will be making its debut at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show with the importer Adria Ship.

The signatures on this 13.32-metre cruiser (beam 4.25 metres) are those of Humphreys and Pininfarina, and the shipyard, with its new construction technologies and new materials, aimed to provide greater volume, greater ease of use, and a variety of equipment options.

Built using vacuum-assisted infusion lamination technology, the new Elan Impression 43 features twin rudders and a large stern section while on deck the cockpit is furnished with a large central table.

The interiors are in “rustic” oak and marine plywood and, in the three-cabin version, the forward master cabin has a double island. To stern there are two double cabins between which there is a technical compartment.

The large central saloon is organised with a dinette on the starboard side and along the port side is the guest-cabin bathroom and the galley.

As far as sail equipment is concerned, Standard mainsail (46.68 square metres) or Furling (42.10 square metres) are available, as well as a 34.1 square metre self-tacking jib. The genoa is optional. The gennaker is 188 square metres.

Finally, worthy of note is also the engine set-up, which in the standard version is a 45 hp Yanmar, but there is also a version with an Oceanvolt electric TBQ motor.
