FNM Marine, in collaboration with AS Labruna, FNM Marine exclusive distributor for Italy, will join the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show to present its innovative FNM Hybrid technology.
FNM Hybrid technology is a state-of-the-art hybrid powertrain that combines a traditional internal combustion marine engine with an electric motor with batteries and on-board units, offering a solution for sustainable navigation that reduces environmental impact.
The HCU (Hybrid Control Unit) supervisory device, designed entirely in-house, allows navigation at a maximum speed of 6/7 knots in full electric propulsion, while in endothermic propulsion it automatically recharges the battery pack.
The HCU also manages functions such as start/stop, recharging while sailing, dockside recharging, management of on-board auxiliary devices such as the cooling pump and hydroguide, and canbus parameters sent to the display. FNM Hybrid – Powertrain Diesel is the only company to offer a complete range of diesel/hybrid engines with power ranging from 13 to 25 kW.
