63rd Genoa International Boat Show News – A design for the future in the new Hanse 410

6 September 2023

Hanse will be presenting its Hanse 410 at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show, bringing to eight the number of models in its collection and taking the place of the Hanse 418, one of the German shipyard’s most successful models.

Measuring 12.55 metres long by 4.29 metres wide, the new Hanse 410 bears the signature of French studio Berret-Racoupeau and is distinguished by its upturned bow and integrated dolphin hatch. Narrow waterline and a wide stern are two more features that make the hull stand out.

The sail plan is worthy of particular note (mainsail 49 square metres, self-tacking jib 35 square metres) with the yard offering Sustainable Performance Sails (SPS) by Elvstrøm Sails, a high-quality sail made of recycled polyester. Equally interesting is the electric propulsion system (optional) equipped with a fuel cell.

On deck, there is a large aft platform, double wheelhouse and large guest cockpit with twin side tables. Below deck, the Hanse 410 offers no less than four possibilities for organising the interior with two or three double cabins.
