Nautor’s Swan to show new Swan 78 at the Genoa Boat Show

The Swan 78 Haromi, first boat of the new line, and a Swan 54 will be showcased at this year’s Genoa International Boat Show, beginning on 20^th September.
The line-up was announced by the Finnish shipyard Nautor’s Swan, chaired by Leonardo Ferragamo, who also announced the launch of a second Swan 78 under the name Kinina. Haromi will compete in the 2018 Rolex Swan Cup taking place at Porto Cervo from 9^th to 16^th September, before arriving at Genoa.

Designed by Germán Frers, the Swan 78, as her designer himself states, “combines all of Nautor’s expertise and experience in boats for regattas and cruises into a 78-foot design, conceived for long-distance sailing. The 78 is a direct descendent of Swans 82 and 80”.
Under 24 metres in length (23.98 metres) in order to keep her within the “leisure boat” limit, the Swan 78 is an impressive 6.39 metres wide. On the other hand, the Swan 54 is the smallest of the Pietarsaari-based shipyard’s models.
