Italian nominees and winners at the BOAT Design & Innovation Awards

Sunday 2nd February saw the annual Superyacht Design Festival event take place in renowned Austrian ski resort Kitzbühel, during which the winners of the BOAT International 2025 Design & Innovation Awards were announced. 19 categories were competing. The following are the Italian nominees.

Telli, Custom Line Navetta 38 won in the Outstanding Exterior Design – Motor Yachts, 24m to 41.9m category and in that of Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts, 499GT and below, 24m to 39.9m with Filippo Salvetti for the first award and Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel’s ACPV Architects for the second.

A double success also for Benetti with the 67-metre Kasper 7 claiming the Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts, 500GT and above category and the Best Naval Architecture – Displacement Motor Yachts category.

The winner in the Best New Series was the Flexplorer 146 line by Cantiere delle Marche designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design in collaboration with Margherita Casprini for interior design and Hydro Tec for naval architecture and exterior design. Perini Navi – The Italian Sea Group’s ArtExplorer won the Multihull of the Year prize while the 26.5-metre Swan 88 DreamCatcher won the Eco Award for its hybrid-electric propulsion. Finally, the 122-metre Lürssen Kismet with exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard won the Outstanding Exterior Design – Motor Yachts, 70m and above.
