Ingemar pontoons will be hosting the boats of the Venice Hospitaliity Challenge scheduled to kick off on 14th October in Venice.
Seventeen maxi yachts are expected to take part in the regatta, the only one in the world that takes place on a course inside a city. They will be moored at the Ingemar pontoons located at the Fondamenta delle Zattere, along the race course that runs from the Bacino di San Marco to the Maritime Station.
The Ingemar pontoons, built with galvanised steel reinforcements and unsinkable cores of reinforced concrete and high-density expanded polystyrene, offer a walking surface of almost 200 square metres made from exotic woods.
This particular installation follows the one just concluded at the 63rd Genoa International Boat Show, where Ingemar, as a technical partner, set up the pontoons and presented the Marina4all – Comfort for All project which welcomed paraplegic sailor Marco Rossato as the finish line of his Giro d’Italia.
