Full steam ahead – the 60th Genoa Boat Show is confirmed

The Genoa Boat Show will take place, as scheduled, from 1^st to 6^th October 2020.

The decision was made during a decisive meeting held this afternoon in the Liguria Region headquarters, in which the President of the Liguria Region, the President of the Italian Marine Industry Association and the Mayor of Genoa unanimously declared their intention of going ahead with the Genoa Boat Show as planned. Just as unanimous was the view that the health and safety situation in Genoa and in Liguria as a whole is such that the event can take place in a safe and protected manner. The Italian Marine Industry Association reaffirmed how crucial an event like the Genoa Boat Show is for kickstarting an industry of such strategic importance to the national economy after the tremendous losses caused by the lockdown period. All institutions present reiterated their commitment to provide the Italian Marine Industry Association with all the support they need in terms of structures and personnel to ensure the event will provide the highest standards of health and safety.

Details of the event will be made public during the introductory press conference scheduled to take place on 16^th September.
