Ferretti Group’s Superyachts Yard gets a makeover

25 July 2024

The Ferretti Group continues the redevelopment of the entire Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Work began in 2016 and initially involved the production hangars (in 5 years, 7 new large sheds were built) then moved to the management buildings and the hospitality area.

And among the management buildings, the Ferretti Group’s Metal Superyachts Division’s Management and Hospitality Building is undeniably the star, inaugurated in December 2023 and spread over 3 floors, and with a total surface area of approximately 4,200 square metres.

The Palazzina is part of the Ferretti Group Superyachts Yard where the CRN metal super and mega-yachts from 60 to 90 metres are designed and built, along with the entire Custom Line made-to-measure range from 30 to 43 metres in composite, and the Riva Superyacht Division flagship superyachts all in aluminium from 50 metres, the 50-metre Custom Line 50 and the Pershing 140.

The new Palazzina is characterised by architectural elements reminiscent of Italian aesthetics and expresses the highest standards of quality tailoring for yacht production with the aim of enhancing the surrounding territory by consolidating the strong identity link with the city of Ancona.

The new Palazzina, built with the use of 300 tons of steel and iron structures, has a facade covered with a metal mesh customised for the Ferretti Group which creates an enchanting curtain-like effect, 1,000 square metres of glass and wood-effect resin cladding covering an area of 800 square metres.
