The show is a journey through the representations of Genoa between 1500 and 1800.
Visitors can immerse themselves into an over three hundred year-long tale, between truth and fiction, sea monsters and great ships, allegories celebrating the city’s glory, ancient maps that chart its coasts.
On the sea and from the sea, Genoa has undergone sieges and bombings. Images of these warring events will be on show.
