With exterior lines by Hydro Tec and interiors by Hot Lab, the new 47-metre Crossover has been sold by Columbus Yachts, which sums up the new yacht as follows: “She combines contemporary aesthetics and practicality to offer a unique experience, where every detail balances luxury and functionality“.
The new 47-metre Crossover from Columbus Yachts is based on a tried and tested naval platform, from which a 42-metre is already under construction and, inspired by the concept of flexibility, features a cockpit capable of accommodating a large tender with a crane fitted aft on the upper deck, and also a swimming pool with common relaxation areas.
The main deck accommodates a large lounge area, the pantry and galley while on the upper deck there is a lounge/entertainment area, the bridge and the captain’s quarters. On the lower deck are two double and two twin cabins in addition to the master cabin.
Nine crew members are accommodated on the lower deck. The new Columbus 47-metre is powered by two 970 kW Caterpillar C 32s. Top speed is over 15 knots; cruising speed is 12 knots. At 10 knots the range exceeds 5,000 miles.
