The Iseo chair designed by Christian Grande for Foresti&Suardi is now 10 years old. Made of teak and steel, the Iseo chair is the result of a production process that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, creating a material transition that confers elegance and refinement.
“The inspiration for the design of the Iseo chair,” explained Christian Grande, “was the idea of creating it with a design that only appeared to be simple, represented by a single line, which from the top could follow the entire profile of the chair up to the last section, without contaminating it with other elements.”
The Iseo chair is composed of a trapezoidal section teak wood structure that creates the two shells joined by a steel “X” that allows the chair to be folded.
The materials and structure with a 3D synthetic mesh mattress and an internal cavity that guarantees ventilation and quick drying, make the Iseo chair ideal for use both on land and onboard.
