Frauscher da Collezione is born, a smaller family within that of Frauscher for historic boats. The initiative is that of Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli, which has represented the Austrian shipyard in Italy for twenty years.
“The idea,” explained Mauro Feltrinelli of Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli, “is to create a Collector’s Corner whenever events and shows are organised, keeping an open line to celebrate and support these masterpieces that will remain forever in the memory of these historic brand’s enthusiasts, something that also depends greatly on their ability to maintain their value on the market.”
“These boats,” Mauro Feltrinelli continued, “represent a meaningful chapter in the history of Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli. We want them to continue to bring moments of joy to their owners, hoping that they will survive for many decades to come. Our commitment is to ensure that these boats continue to sail in the hearts and waters of those who truly love them“.
Five models are included in Frauscher da Collezione, starting with the Benaco 909, a 9-metre day cruiser, the 757 Saint Tropez, the world’s first yacht powered by a diesel-electric hybrid engine, the 717 GT (pictured) with its references to the 1920s, the 686 Lido with its design and performance close to a sports custom-built, and the 606 Riviera with perfect sea-keeping thanks to the model’s deep V and constant dihedral all the way to the stern.
