Cantiere delle Marche launches the B2

25 July 2024

After the Alexa it is time for the B2. A week after the launch of the Darwin 86 Alexa, Cantiere delle Marche has launched the one-off project B2, a 42.61 metre yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design with naval architecture by Hydro Tec.

This one-off project,” explained Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM, “fits perfectly with CdM’s approach in terms of both design and technical content. The B2 integrates and interprets in an original form the best of CdM’s semi-custom explorer yacht ranges, Darwin Class, Flexplorer, RJ and Deep Blue. This project stems from our vast experience in the construction of explorer yachts and the precious advice of the owners, a beautiful family who have entrusted us with the realisation of their yacht.”

The B2 sums up all the characteristics of a high-quality explorer yacht with a bright interior and a main deck that, thanks to a wide-body configuration, reserves the forward half of the yacht for four large suites, almost identical in size and features. Two further guest cabins are on the lower deck.

The B2 is powered by two 746 kW Caterpillar C32 Acerts. Top speed is 14 knots and 60,000 litres of fuel allow a range of over 5,000 miles.
