Designed by Francesco Forcellini, Besenzoni’s new Ischia armchair-lounger kicks off the BeDesign division and paves the way for a wide-ranging project involving collaborations with important designers active in various fields.
The Ischia has a mirror-polished steel frame and generous upholstery that offers ‘home’ comfort and, to suit this, the fabrics can be either suitable for domestic use or nautical.
The Ischia, which was unveiled at the FuoriSalone 2024, can be folded up, taking up minimal space on board or at home, and is equipped with tilting feet that ensure perfect support even on surfaces that are not perfectly flat.
For Besenzoni, the FuoriSalone 2024, in addition to the presentation of Ischia, was also an opportunity to present the second edition of the ‘Giovanni Besenzoni’ award reserved for young designers and organised in collaboration with the Industrial and Research Design course at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti (LABA) of Brescia.
