Baglietto has launched the Akula, their third T52, preceding the official handover ceremony to the unit’s owner took place last week. A stand-out model, this T52 presents a number of innovations compared to the two sister yachts already delivered, while still maintaining the key features that have defined the line’s success.
“We are entering a busy season for deliveries,” commented Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, “which this year will see as many as four T52s and two yachts from the DOM133 line touch water. Each yacht, while still belonging to the line, is in fact a unique and markedly personal item, the end point of a long journey working alongside the owner, a journey that reaches its conclusion with this launch“.
The Akula is designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design for the exteriors while the interiors are by Enrico Gobbi, Team for Design. The construction was supervised by Italian Yacht Group representing the owner together with Fabrizio Loi of Inter yachting LLC as surveyor.
The most stand-out features of the Baglietto T52 line include the open stern with a beach club on three levels, the sky lounge on the upper deck, with full-height windows that disappear completely, and the garage where it is possible to create a gym area by moving two jet skis and a 5.50-metre tender to the bow.
