64th Genoa International Boat Show – What’s New: The Princess S80 expands the Princess Yachts family

5 September 2024

Prestigious designer signatures for the Princess S80 which Princess Yachts will be premiering at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show. Alongside that of Olesinski Naval Architecture for the naval architecture the new Princess 80 bears the signature of Studio Pininfarina who designed the interiors of this 25.40 metre yacht which is inspired by urban environments and has a design characterised by a modern style.

Three of the many stand-out features of the new Princess 80 can be found in the main deck, which is developed on a single level, and the profile which is marked by long hull windows that, from stern to bow, emphasise the yacht’s momentum as it soars across the waves.

Another key element is the central staircase that rises to the cockpit with two side sundecks (another sundeck is at the bow of the main deck) that flank the passage to the relaxation area and the dining table.

These two areas in particular, along with the bar at the entrance to the saloon, are well protected by the fly wing with its sofas and other sundecks that furnish the 28.70 square metres of surface area that are behind and next to the second wheelhouse.

The interior, with the saloon bathed in natural light by the large windows that surround it, includes the galley, a lounge with two sofas and the bridge.

The owner’s suite, located aft of the lower deck, is full beam (6.06 metres maximum beam) and includes its own desk. For the guests, there is a VIP cabin provided forward, a double cabin and also a twin cabin.

The available engine set-ups are two Man V12s with 2000 hp (reaching speeds of 32-34 knots) and one with two Man V12s with 1900 hp (for speeds of up to 31-33 knots).
