64th Genoa International Boat Show – What’s New: The Maiora Exuma 35 takes centre stage

28 August 2024

Less than three months after her launch, here she is on the global catwalk that is the 64th Genoa International Boat Show. This is the Exuma 35 straight from the Maiora shipyard, a brand operating as a member company of the Next Yacht Group. At 35.20 metres in length, the new Exuma 35 is the latest in a highly successful series that combines great liveability on board with the performance derived from AB Yachts, another brand of the Group famous for yachts that stand out for their quintessentially sporty design.

Built in composite, the Exuma 35 is the result of the experience gained by a shipyard that has been offering yachts that have continued to stand out for their volumes, style and performance for the past fifty years.

The new Exuma 35 is all about light and contact with the natural environment thanks to full-height windows in the saloon that create extensive indoor-outdoor spaces. For example, on the upper deck the saloon can be transformed into a flybridge of over 130 square metres.

Light is the protagonist not only in the saloon, but also in the cabins, like all the interiors made bespoke according to the taste of the owner, who has their own full-beam suite forward on the main deck while four doubles for guests are on the lower deck.

Considerable space is dedicated to the tender with a side garage that can accommodate a 6.50-metre boat and water toys in the second aft garage. Powered by three 2000 hp MTUs and equipped with hydrojet propulsion, the Maiora Exuma 35 reaches a top speed of 35 knots. A somewhat unique performance for a yacht weighing an impressive 170 tonnes.
