With more than 40 years of experience in the treatment of Black and Grey waters on board, Tecnicomar will be presenting at the 64th Genoa International Boat Show its ECOMAR SX series which, thanks to its compact design, can be easily installed in small spaces.
Tecnicomar’s water treatment systems, as well as its on-board black and grey water purifiers and reverse osmosis desalinators, are installed all over the world on board yachts, naval vessels, commercial ships, ferries and offshore platforms. In particular, the ECOMAR SX series is available in different models, covering a wide range of treatment capacities, to best meet the needs of each type of application. The ECOMAR SX purifies wastewater through a special chemical-physical treatment and flocculation process followed by a final post-treatment before discharge.
The ECOMAR SX is equipped with a new automatic backwash system for the Aftertreatment Station combined with a special automatic backwash water treatment cycle that requires no operator intervention.
The ECOMAR SX series can also work with vacuum toilet flushing systems, which are available on request. Simple to use and capable of operating in fully automatic mode, ECOMAR SX systems can be remotely monitored via Tecnicomar remote control systems, integrating operating information with on-board systems.
ECOMAR units are certified according to the latest IMO MARPOL MEPC.227(64) Resolutions, including § 4.2 for the ECOMAR S series.
